An estimate only, based on typical water losses in east Pasco homes. Every loss is different, and the restoration company that responds sets the real scope after seeing the damage.

How this estimate works

Drying time depends mostly on the material and how saturated it is. Tile and sealed concrete release water quickly, drywall and framing take longer, and slab under flooring, block walls and hardwood take the longest. Bigger wet areas add time because more water has to leave the building.

Humid outdoor air slows drying, so a closed, cooled house dries faster than one with open windows or no power. The goal is a reading, not a date: equipment comes out when wet materials read within 2 to 4 points of a dry reference. See structural drying for how that works.
